Product Description
High Thermal Stability:
Unlike L-foot or wrap fins, the G-fin is embedded into the tube wall, maintaining a secure mechanical bond even at temperatures up to 400°C (750°F).
Maximum Heat Transfer :
The "Grooved" design ensures zero air gap between the fin and the tube, providing superior thermal conductivity for high-stress cooling applications.
Atmospheric Corrosion Resistance :
The base tube material is protected by the tightly embedded fin, making it ideal for air-cooled heat exchangers (ACHE) in harsh environments.
Mechanical Rigidity :
The embedded design allows for high-pressure cleaning and resists vibration better than tension-wound fins, extending the service life of the equipment.
AluGreat Precision Machining:
Our CNC-controlled grooving ensures consistent depth and tension, preventing tube wall thinning while maximizing fin contact.
AluGreat G-Type (Embedded) Finned Tubes: Engineered for Extreme Thermal Loads
AluGreat specializes in the manufacturing of G-Type Finned Tubes, the industry standard for high-temperature and high-performance heat exchange applications. Unlike traditional wrapping methods, our G-Type fins are mechanically embedded into a helical groove machined into the surface of the base tube, ensuring an unbreakable thermal bond.
Why G-Type?
In heavy-duty cooling environments—such as power plants and petrochemical refineries—thermal cycling can cause standard fins to loosen. AluGreat’s Embedded (G-Fin) design eliminates this risk. By locking the fin into the tube wall, we ensure constant heat transfer efficiency even under extreme vibration and high operating temperatures.
